A1 Carpet Care's experienced and skillful technicians have successfully completed the "A1 apprenticeship" program. In addition, each A1 Carpet Care technician participates in a program of continuing and progressive professional growth. Several times per year, A1 technicians attend classes presented by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) to become proficient in the areas of carpet cleaning, carpet repairs, pet urine removal, tough stain removal, stain guard application, upholstery fabric identification, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, tile and grout sealing, emergency water damage restoration and more. Following their classes, the technicians test for certification in the subject area by the IICRC. Once certified in a particular skill, the IICRC requires that the technician maintain his certification by periodically participating in refresher courses and retesting for continued certification.
