IMMEDIATE RESPONSE WATER DAMAGE RESTORATION
One of the most traumatic disaster occurrences facing property owners, insurance companies and risk managers is water damage. Whether caused by a natural or man-made disaster, moisture is a fast and silent destroyer of furnishings, equipment and building interiors. The result of the damage is costly repairs and often replacement. Timing is crucial to the dehumidification of a building and the prevention of the growth of destructive mold and mildew.
Common sense approaches to remediating water damage are definitely good - mop or wet vacuum, use fans to promote the circulation of dry air. But don't stop there! These steps are not enough to ensure peace of mind. After any degree of water damage, it is important to get an inspection by an IICRC-certified carpet technician. This skilled craftsman will determine how deeply the water has penetrated carpet, padding, your home's structure and your belongings. If trapped water is left undetected, it can create pockets of saturation with ultimate damage including discoloration, warping, splitting, delamination, musty odor and mold growth.
A1 restoration and remediation can dramatically reduce the scope of damage and save thousands of dollars in replacement costs. Using sophisticated, portable, commercial dehumidification equipment, A1 Carpet Care can quickly and efficiently return the humidity and moisture levels, of any building back to normal. The rapid removal of excess moisture will help prevent permanent damage which will occur if left untreated.
