What happens when I contact A1 Carpet Care to arrange for a carpet cleaning?

Our courteous office staff will ask you a series of questions designed to give us an image of your carpet cleaning needs. A1 Carpet Care staff wants to give you the most reliable quote we can, but we are quoting over the telephone, sight-unseen. We apply our education and experience to many factors that can affect your carpet cleaning experience, such as the age of the carpet, how long it has been since the last time cleaned, whether you have spots, stains or heavily soiled areas, pet damage, and many other factors. We take pains to inform the customer in the first telephone call whether we believe extra services will be needed beyond our basic steam cleaning package in order to bring your carpet to its optimum condition.

Pre-Visit Tips

There is little that you need to do to prepare your home for our arrival. The only thing we ask is that you remove any plants, lamps, knick-knacks or other items resting on small items of furniture that may be moved from the rooms being cleaned. Our technicians will handle rest!

Post-Visit Tips

While our truck-mounted vacuum system removes almost all of the moisture immediately, your carpet or upholstery may still be damp to the touch. To expedite dyring time, you may use ceilings fans or open doors and windows to foster the circulation of dry air. Be sure to leave the protective blocks under furniture legs and any paper used with upholstered items in place until the carpet and/or furniture is completely dry to prevent any color transfer.

You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning, but avoid wearing street shoes, as they may re-soil your carpet. Be especially careful when walking from damp carpet to hard surface to avoid slip and fall accidents.
